BTC transactions are expensive and slow, with an average of 10 minutes per block and sometimes up to an hour for a single block. This means that during high-demand minting events, such as minting popular Runes/BRC20 tokens, gas prices can skyrocket unpredictably. An unpredictable gas price means a single acceleration might not suffice; multiple accelerations may be necessary to ensure our transaction is confirmed on-chain before the minting ends, or we risk losing all the transaction fees sent.
In addition to providing , BTCBot also allows you to manually boost a transaction for minting Runes/BRC20 tokens, offering you a more flexible boost solution.
You can manually boost your transaction by following these steps:
Check All Pending Mints: Find /pending in the Menu to check all your pending Runes/BRC20 mint transactions.
Enter the Manual Boost interface: Click the [Manual Boost] button next to the transaction you want to manually boost to enter the Manual Boost interface.
Set the target Gas Price: You can manually set the Gas Price to which you want to boost.
Submit the Boost Tx: Submit the boost transaction, which will raise the effective Gas Price of your previous transactions to the target Gas Price you set.
